Online SolidWorks course content is the same as traditional courses, only the delivery format is different to offer more flexible scheduling for students.
- Students will participate in a series of 2-hour lecture sessions, along with other students via GoToMeeting.
- Instruction will be given via screen sharing and webcam
- Hard copy training manuals and handouts will be shipped ahead of time with instructions to download supporting files.
- Students can ask and answer questions via audio, chat, or screen sharing.
- Questions can be emailed to the instructor between sessions and will hold online “office hours” to review covered material with students needing extra help.

Syllabus
For customers who have challenging part geometry, advanced shapes, industrial design, mold and die design. Covers methods for more flexible product design approach. Includes topics on surfacing and splines.
Prerequisite: SolidWorks Essentials and access to a license of SolidWorks 2012.

Advanced Assembly – Online (4 sessions)
Syllabus
For customers whose assemblies have more than 100 parts, or who wish to use “in-context” or “top-down” assembly design approach. Covers best practices for large assembly management. Also includes topics to increase productivity of assembly modeling.
Prerequisite: SolidWorks Essentials and access to a license of SolidWorks 2012.

Advanced Drawings – Online (4 sessions)
Syllabus
For customers who have demanding 2D needs. Covers creation of special drawing view types, best practices for drawing management, customization of title blocks and bills of materials, optimization of templates for company standards and commonly reused detailing objects. eDrawings is also covered in-depth.
Prerequisite: SolidWorks Essentials OR SolidWorks Quickstart and access to a license of SolidWorks 2012.

Advanced Surfacing – Online (4 sessions)
Syllabus
For customers who require or prefer a surfaces-based approach to product design typically for ergonomic, aesthetic, or aerodynamic shapes. Covers basic and advanced surface functions, hybrid surface/solid modeling, surface modeling techniques, and working with imported solids and surfaces.
Prerequisite: SolidWorks Essentials, SolidWorks Advanced Parts and access to a license of SolidWorks 2012.
