CAPINC believes in supporting our local communites. As a company, we want to not only provide the best customer service to our customers, but also try to improve the quality of life for people in the places where we live and work. We are proud to support the following organizations:

2007 Website and IT Assistance from CAPINC (under development)

Fourth Church Boston

The current project is assisting Reverend Burns Stanfield with the website for the Fourth Church in South Boston. Reverend Stanfield has revitalized an old urban church by establishing programs in music and the arts, community mediation, and outreach to people with AIDS and the elderly.

Since he took over as pastor in 1991, the congregation has grown from 25 to about 120 members. But his church, located in the Andrew Square neighborhood, serves hundreds more every year through its programs, including a free summer day camp, youth groups, a food pantry, music and art classes, and tutoring. Most of children and adults who participate in those programs are not members of the church.

Julies Family Learning Center

Julie's Family offers programs that build strong, healthy families. Its services enable mothers and their children to become healthy, responsible, successful and economically self-sufficient members of their communities.

Julie's Family model of family support strengthens the bonds between family members and helps both parents and children break the cycle of poverty. Adults can join a basic needs group or a personal and family goals group. There are also programs on adult basic education, life skills education, workplace readiness skills, employment and career counseling, and more. And while mothers work on personal goals, their children are also receiving services. These include infant and toddler childhood development centers, a Montessori pre-school, tutoring and more.

In October 2006, Julie's Family Learning Program, located in South Boston, Massachusetts, received the Oprah's Angel Network grant in conjunction with O, The Oprah Magazine's "O You!" event.
